New Theme
Coding, Rants Monday, August 4, 2008You've probably noticed it already. But just in case you didn't, I'm here to tell you(that and give you the name of a good eye doctor).
The new theme is obviously different from the old one. It's brighter, has widgets on the bottom and as you might have noticed...it has the Blogger NavBar on top.
Until I find a way to remove it, it will be there plotting against us....so if you know how to remove the NavBar, please tell me.
Please remember, if you find any bugs, let me know. I'll be back later with a real blog post and not just one telling you about a new theme....
EDIT: I got the NavBar out. :-D
Here's how to do it:
Insert this code:
#navbar-iframe {
display: none !important;
}In the HTML, right after the area that give you the themes info.
Usually looks like this:
-----------------------------------------------
Blogger Template Style
Name: Rounders
Designer: Douglas Bowman
URL: www.stopdesign.com
Date: 27 Feb 2004
----------------------------------------------- */
Thanks to Blogger Templates.

It's ummm..., different.
And I know you got rid of the Blogger search navbar, but where's the navbar that shows that I'm logged in under my Google account etc.?

TheChrisD--It's the same navbar. The one showing your Google account is the other half of the Blogger NavBar.

Oh. But why get rid of it? It confuses me because then I'm not sure whether I'm logged in or not...

I've been giving it some thought for a while now. I removed it to try to make the blog look more professional, but it's also harder on me to post 'cause I have to go to Blogger.com instead of just clicking on the link that says "New Post." I don't know, maybe I'll put it back...maybe.
